At Mallard Carpet Cleaning we specialize in cleaning all carpeted and hard surfaces, upholstery, and specialty rugs. We have the best equipment and supplies for both low moisture and steam cleaning methods, and offer plant based cleaning solutions. IICRC certified & insured.
We also do pressure washing, window washing and are capable of handling all types of small home repairs.
Very Low Moisture (VLM) Cleaning
The VLM method uses 1/10th of the water steam cleaning uses. VLM uses specialized solutions to target stains and smells, and is the preferred method of cleaning when the primary objectives are stain removal and urine remediation since it allows us to treat the target areas on the surface instead of pushing the stains and smells deeper in the carpet and pad which can happen with steam cleaning.
VLM offers a one hour dry time, making it the perfect solution for commercial settings.
Steam Cleaning
Steam cleaning uses a mix of heated water and detergent applied under pressure and then extracting the solution and grime to clean your carpets. While this method removes stains and odors, it is best used to remove solids such as dirt and grease build up from your carpets. We use portable machines so we do not create trip hazards in a commercial environment. Pairing both VLM and steam cleaning methods is the apex of carpet cleaning and restoration.
Typically, steam cleaning has a dry time of 6 - 24 hours depending on environmental conditions, however, unlike other service providers we bonnet dry carpets which significantly reduces dry time.
Hard Surfaces
No matter the material, if it is a hard surface - horizontal or vertical - we can clean it. In addition to cleaning we offer more skilled services, such as, strip and wax, screen and recoat of hardwood floors, polishing and sealing of stone floors, and grout repairs.
Upholstery, Curtains, and Specialty Rugs
We clean almost any fabric, including delicate and hard to clean fabrics. First we inspect the furniture assessing any stains or spots, so we can let you know what to expect from the cleaning. Next, we pre-condition the fabric allowing the cleaning agents to emulsify the dirt and stains. We follow this with a textile rinse and extraction to thoroughly remove soil and moisture. We then use high powered air movers to accelerate drying time. On cut pile fabrics we use a brush to groom the pile to lift it and leave fabric looking like new.
For delicate fabrics we offer VLM as well.
Pressure Wash
We run machines capable of 4,500 PSI utilizing up to 5 gallons of water a minute. What does that mean? Even the toughest grime is no match.
To provide the most efficient service we use 30ft lances which also eliminates the risk damage to your home from ladders.

Carpet and hard surface cleaning is our specialty, however, we are experienced in all aspects of home care and maintenance . Likewise, we have all the tools to complete any task. While this isn't our focus any longer, we do enjoy having variety in our day-to-day tasks. Additionally, we know that it is difficult to find reasonable contractors who deliver quality results, so we are happy to continue to offer these services.
